One way we fulfill our commitment to the betterment of our community and its citizens is through our continued support of local projects — especially those projects which help to improve the lives of our children.

Board Officers

Richard E. “Dick” DeVor (President)
Dick has been a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois in Urbana, IL since 1971. He has been semi-retired from that position since 2001. He is also President of DeVor Tool and Die, Inc. in Lake Mills. DeVor Tool and Die is a tooling and parts manufacturing firm founded by his father Robert G. DeVor, Sr. in 1956. Dick is a Past President of the Lake Mills Police and Fire Commission.
Steven D. Dehnert (Vice-President)
Steven has been affiliated with Badger Bank since 1978 and through his years of association with the bank now serves as President and CEO. Badger Bank’s corporate location is in Fort Atkinson and has grown to include affiliate branches in Jefferson, Johnson Creek and Cambridge.
Beverly Farnsworth (Treasurer)
Beverly was employed by the State Of WI for 28 years as an Employment and Training Specialist. While serving this role she was also an active member and officer in the Jefferson County Personnel Association, a professional organization of "Human Resource" Managers.  Since retirement, Beverly assists Westat of Rockville conducting surveys regarding medical costs.   
Boyd W. Forest (Secretary)
Boyd served the Lake Mills School district for 20 years until retiring from his position as Lake Mills High School Principal & Athletic Director in 1997. Following his retirement, Boyd continued to serve as the Lake Mills District Athletic Director until 2005.

Jon D. Dahle
Former Director of Human Resources at Schweiger Industries in Jefferson and later Spacesaver, Inc. in Fort Atkinson; Jon is the founder and principal of Dahle & Associates, LLC, a Human Resource and Operations Management Consulting business. Jon is also a member of the Lake Mills Lions Club.
Dennis L. Hawkes
Dennis and his wife, Arlys, founded The Lake Mills Leader Publishing Co. and Leader Printing Co. Dennis owned and published The Lake Mills Leader for 33 years. Dennis is also the Owner of Leader Building located at 318 North Main, Lake Mills, which he developed into a multi-business/offices center.
Gerald G. Heckman
With more than 18 years experience in the field of charitable planning, Gerry brings a broad base of knowledge and talent in service to the sharing members of the Lake Mills community.
Todd R. Larson
As president of TSL Graphics Inc., Todd heads up its local sales office as well as the company’s manufacturing arm in Taipei, Taiwan. TSL Graphics Inc. has been molded by the global economy with 80% of its business outside the US supporting brand names such as Yamaha, Reebok, Nike, and New Balance in manufacturing locations in China, Mexico, and Europe.
Jay S. Smith
An Associate Attorney at Neuberger, Wakeman, Lorenz, Griggs & Sweet, Jay’s practice focuses on Estates and Estate Planning. Jay is also a member of the Lake Mills Rotary and Lake Mills Optimist Club.
